Peggy’s Patty Cake Pie Crust




2 Cups All Purpose Flour

12 Tablespoons Butter, cut into thin slices

1/2 Cup Cream Cheese, cut into small pieces

1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg

2 Egg Yolks


Combine flour, slices of butter, cream cheese pieces and nutmeg.

Mix until mixture forms fine crumbs.

Add 2 large egg yolks and stir until dough holds together.

Roll into small balls.

Press out dough balls ¼ inch thick and “patty cake” them

into a glass or ceramic pie shell.

Bake according to pie recipe instructions
